The Spyre Group has just completed the sale of the Glasshouse’s 970 sqm Penthouse, which was purchased by an interstate buyer for $20m last April.
Amir Mian, the principal of Amir Prestige, handled the latest sale. This was after the developer decided in August to combine the remaining two units from the building into one luxurious beach house with five bedrooms and four bathrooms.
The remaining two units were combined to form a penthouse.

Mr Mian said the developer had effectively created two top-tier penthouses in the Glasshouse.
“The buyer recognized an outstanding opportunity to purchase a brand new luxury penthouse at an unmatched location, with what I believe is the best view of the Gold Coast,” said Mr Mian.
They have chosen to combine the two apartments in order to take advantage of the lifestyle, amenities, and facilities available at Burleigh Heads while not compromising living space.
Mr Mian said that the sale showed the continued demand for high-end real estate on the Gold Coast.
Living spaces up to 800 sq. ft.
Spyre director Andrew Malouf confirmed the unconditional sale, with the price of the 800 sqm apartment equating to $30,000 per sqm. By comparison, the square meter purchase price of the project’s first penthouse was $20,619.
A European-inspired Southport mansion, located in the dress circle area, fetched $24.8m at auction in September.
Spyre’s managing director, Daniel Laruccia, stated that the huge demand for Glasshouse’s original penthouse indicated a “gap” in the market in Burleigh heads for an ultra-luxury property.
“The amalgamated home will give the functionality of a large house in a place that is reserved for multi-residential housing on Burleigh Beachfront,” Mr Laruccia stated.
The top-floor master retreat features 11m of water frontage, a private balcony, and floor-to-ceiling fluted glass. Multiple living spaces are spread across an open-plan design, with a kitchen island bench modeled after the headland on the coast as a focal point.
There is also a media room, a guest suite, a wine room, a home office, six parking spaces, and a pool.
The beach house, designed by BureauProberts, is expected to be finished in the first quarter of 2024.
