The five-bedroom family home at 30 Cavendish Road, Coorparoo, is spread over three lots measuring 1268sqm. It enjoys views of the city from nearly every room.

As the sprawling floor plan continues to the rear, the alluring contemporary extension from renowned architect Graham Lloyd is revealed.
“We rarely see a renovation that combines federation charm and new world architecture in such a grand manner,” said James Curtain, director at Place Property, Woolloongabba.
He added, “The design not only is stylish and innovative but is also extremely functional, which is very important for families.”

Mr Curtain said the sweeping landscaped lawn is ideal for playing soccer and cricket, and there is a small playing court perfect for basketball.
Three terrazzo-tiled bathrooms are accompanied by five bedrooms, including the opulent main suite with a dressing room, ensuite, and private deck offering a mesmerizing view.
An office, study, triple garage, and off-street parking for up to eight cars round out the incredible inclusions.
The address is as impressive as the house itself, and Mr Curtain describes Coorparoo as a suburb that “generations of families have loved.”
He said that Coorparoo, a suburb with large homes and blocks in a convenient location to the CBD and coast, offers prestigious schools and lifestyle amenities.

Mr Curtain has received interest from both local and interstate buyers, adding that similar properties in the area have sold in the region of $5 million plus.
Suburbs on the rise
Caddens is not as well known as Kingswood or Penrith, but this will not last long. Paul Ryan, senior economics at realestate.com.au, says that where major amenities such as schools, hospitals, and transport are located, buyers will follow.
He says that the area is undergoing a lot of development. It’s on the train route to Sydney CBD, which is a huge benefit for commuters. It’s serviced by major arterial roads such as the M4 or M2.
Mr Ryan explained that the increase in median house prices in Caddens over the last three years may be due to the recent changes made to the suburb.
The median rent has risen by over 11% to $720 per week.
Ryan adds, “Caddens has a great lifestyle appeal as well, with the Blue Mountains close by.”
Westwood Estate offers a wide variety of properties for sale.
Amenity greenery
Barrett explains that Westwood Estate was designed to provide residents with the most convenient lifestyle.
She says that the community is located less than 10 minutes from Kingswood and Werrington stations and that a new Orchard Hills Metro station is due to be completed in 2026.
Caddens Corner Shopping Centre is only a few minutes away. It has a Woolworths Supermarket and over 30 specialty shops, including a dentist, pharmacy, hair and beauty centers, etc. Next door, in Kingswood, is the Nepean Hospital.
Construction will also begin on the metro line, which will connect Western Sydney Airport with St Marys Railway Station.
She says that the estate is located in the Kingswood Primary and High School catchment area and is close to TAFE NSW Nepean and the University of Western Sydney.
Caddens, despite its many amenities, is located in the Blue Mountains and is just one hour away. The crisp mountain air, local produce, and nature walks are all easily accessible.
Penrith Golf Club, a 9-minute drive from the hotel, is perfect for those who love to play golf.
Future Community
Barrett says that Westwood Estate is expected to grow in the coming years. There are plans for the release of terraces and townhouses, as well as the introduction of 250 apartments on top of 7000 square meters of retail space.
The master plan is exciting. It’s a hub for activity. She says that this is an opportunity for people to enter the area before it is fully developed, and they can make their own choices.
Your choice of home
Westwood Estate offers a variety of land sizes, from 240 to 550 square meters. Prices start at approximately $599,000. HYG gives buyers the opportunity to choose their builder, design, and layout within certain standard guidelines. This gives them a lot of flexibility and scope.
Barrett says that “buyers can now personalise the home they buy to reflect their own goals and preferences.”
This home is part of the house and land package available from McDonald Jones Homes.
The ability to purchase land and build later allows people to control costs.
She says that this allows buyers to build their homes in stages or to experiment with different construction and financing strategies.
