Liberty Financial

Liberty is one of Rismark International’s strategic partners. Liberty Financial is a well established and respected specialist lender, backed by global investment banks such as Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Macquarie Bank and National Australia Bank. Liberty introduced specialty lending to Australia in 1997, recognising a large number of people were not being serviced or being serviced poorly by traditional lenders. In 2002 Liberty was again the first to market launching its New Zealand operations. These customers, who were unable to obtain a loan from traditional lenders, had few options. By creating high quality, competitive options, Liberty has enabled thousands of customers to achieve their financial goals. It has also created a more competitive market, with customers, both Liberty’s and otherwise, reaping the benefits of better rates, wider options and new, innovative products. Having invested significantly in an integrated end-to-end servicing capability and the only financier in the region to have received a “strong” rating for servicing specialty assets by both Standard and Poor’s and Moody’s, Liberty is well placed to build on its success.
